Overview

DIRECT Greece lets you experience the highlights of this bucket list Mediterranean country. You will travel to both Athens and Santorini with a community of like-minded peers and learn about yourself in the process. In Athens, you will visit the Acropolis and step into the rich history, culture and traditions of ancient Greece. You will enrich and broaden your perspective during our one day service project with a local community center. Then, you will hop on a ferry to Santorini and soak in the postcard views of this world-famous destination. Your time in Santorini is filled with quintessential blue domed churches, breathtaking sunsets and relaxing on incredible beaches. Along the way, the DIRECT Greece team will lead engaging workshops about your strengths, vision and values so you will return home with a stronger sense of who you are and where you want to go in life.

Personal Development & Service

Traveling abroad can bring a renewed sense of confidence and clarity to your life during a pivotal time. Our staff works to maximize this opportunity by facilitating personal development workshops and creating space to pause and reflect on all that you are experiencing. You will enrich and broaden your perspective during our one-day service project with a local community center. Each lesson will have a unique focus ranging from your personal strengths, practicing gratitude, creating your vision statement or identifying your values. Through guided conversations, these personal development exercises will provide an invaluable sense of purpose and direction for your life.

Ancient Athens & Corinth

We’ve designed the itinerary to maximize your time abroad as you hop between Athens and Santorini. You will step back in time in Athens seeing ancient ruins and the first Olympic stadium. You cannot visit Greece without spending time in the city. You’ll fall in love with the cobblestone paths, rooftop theaters and gelato shops around every corner. You might even decide to take a leap and bungee jump over Corinth Canal.

Greek Islands & Santorini

Next we hop on a ferry to Santorini. When most people think of Greece, they are picturing the iconic blue domes of Oia. Oia is the only place in the world we know where everyone stops to applaud when the sun finally sets because the experience is that breathtaking. You’ll have the opportunity to hike a volcano in Santorini, visit hot springs, and take trips to world-famous attractions like the blue domes of Oia and the charming town of Fira.

Amalfi Coast Add-On

Immediately following DIRECT Greece, students will have the opportunity to join us on an add-on adventure to the Amalfi Coast. The Amalfi Coast is a breathtaking stretch of coastline in southern Italy, renowned for its dramatic cliffs, picturesque villages and stunning sea views. It captivates students with its beauty and charm, offering an unforgettable Mediterranean experience.
